Student achievement is the goal of our guidance program.  We provide academic and personal support for students and parents alike.  By utilizing classroom and individual guidance, character and career education, and programs such as Positive Behavior Support and Response to Intervention, we provide a safe environment to guide students through their formative years.

Meet Your Child's Guidance Counselor:

Teresa Shipp:

I am Teresa Shipp, and this is my 9th year as a guidance counselor at Old Kings Elementary.  I received my Masters Degree in Counseling from Webster University.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Flagler College.  I started my career in counseling at a non-profit agency in St. Augustine.  There I was an Alpha Counselor and a Prevention Specialist.

I enjoy being a guidance counselor and working with children.  I believe that every student should be given the opportunity to be successful, and I am proud to be a part of a school that shares the same belief.

If you have any questions about our program, please feel free to contact your child’s guidance counselor:
